SPEAKER_01Welcome back to another Inside Look episode. This is a bonus episode of the Behind the Bluff podcast. I'm Jeff Ford, and today we are giving you another update. And this update today is on the PB Connect Fitness app. The fitness app has been in existence for a little bit of time, and we wanted to share some exciting new features which we'll be launching alongside our new programming at the new PBC Fitness Center. In this episode, we're going to walk you through updates to the app experience. Now, this is not the app that you register for classes. This is an app that we have for you as an add-on enhancement to your current experience as a member here at Palmetto Bluff Club. Today, my colleague David is going to expand and share with you on the virtual fitness and wellness services that we have because there's a lot of new ways to stay connected to your health and performance, whether you're at Palmetto Bluff or away from property. We'll also cover how the Fitness app will support the rollout of our new classes, training experiences, and the programming within the new Palmetto Bluff Club Fitness Center. Our goal is simple create a more connected, flexible, and accessible wellness experience for our members. Let's go ahead and jump in.

How The App Started And Grew
SPEAKER_02And the journey has been going for a little bit now. We started the app during our healthy momentum program, which is a program that we run at the beginning of every year to kickstart change for members, to get them back on track with fitness, nutrition, and mindfulness practices. So the app began there where 15 people got onto the fitness app and they were able to measure their progress throughout the program, and they had workouts prescribed to them and habits prescribed to them so that they could follow along for an entire month. Well, at the end of that program, we had so many members ask us hey, it would be so awesome if we could keep this app going as a resource for year-round. And then it even went further of wow, this app would be really cool if it matched with the very workouts that are afforded to all members on property here at Palmetto Bluff. So that when you are not on property with us, you're potentially traveling, you're in another home, you can still feel the connection and the pull of staying on your plan and part of the wellness program here at Palmetto Bluff. And so we have been having the app going for about a year now. And I decided that we needed to bring someone in to evolve the experience of the app. Frankly, it wasn't in a place that we felt super comfortable blasting it out to the entire community. And we wanted to harness and zone in on what offerings would be most beneficial to the membership at large after practicing and playing with it over this past

SPEAKER_02year. And so without further ado, I am gonna introduce David Chessworth, one of our newest team members, a personal friend of mine for the last couple of decades, and he is gonna walk you through the PB Connect app version 2.0 that we are officially relaunching. David?
SPEAKER_00Thanks, Jeff. Thanks for having me here. I'm super excited to be part of this team and really excited to help kickstart and take this PB Connect offering to the next level. So I'm gonna go ahead and minimize my face here so you can see these offerings. So as you can see, as we kick off 2.0, PB Connect 2.0, we've got three virtual offerings. Number
Virtual Training From Anywhere
SPEAKER_00one, I'll start with the virtual training here. So this is actually something you can start as early as right now, as today. If you're interested in continuing to train with your trainer virtually, go ahead and talk to your trainer. What this is, is it's video chat, FaceTime, Zoom, however you want to go about your video chat. And it's just keeping your trainer with you in your back pocket while you're away. So you'll have real-time training with your trainer, you'll get form feedback in real time, but you can do it anywhere, just like working out here, just virtual from anywhere. And of course, you might have access to equipment at your house or at a local gym. You'll let your trainer know. But if this is something that you're interested in, you can go ahead and start talking to your trainer about it. And one thing to note the app that Jeff was talking about, PB Connect app, is not included with virtual training alone. I'm going to skip over to this third image here where it says custom workouts. Custom Workouts With Coach Chat
SPEAKER_00is also something you can start talking to your trainer about right now, if you're interested. So with this offering, we're just starting off simple with three custom workouts made specifically for you, where you can log your progress. Um, and there's also a chat feature with your coach. So if you have questions about your form, you can film yourself, send it to your coach. Um, really with the custom workout offering, who it's for, is someone who's self-motivated enough to work out on their own, but maybe you still want someone to tell you what to do. And based on how long you want access to these workouts for, there's different offerings, um, which, if you're interested, you can reach out to me and we can talk about that. Um, or you can talk to your coach about that as well. Um
Class Subscription And Equipment Alternatives
SPEAKER_00and then the third offering is a subscription to the on-site class programming. Specifically, as we kick off, PB Strong, PB Mixed, and PB Cardio. Um, another thing I want to say about that is Jeff is gonna be doing an inside look series of podcast episodes talking about the updated formats for PB Strong, PB Mixed, and PB Cardio once the new space launches in June. Um, so depending on how long you want access to the subscription for, there's different options there as well. Some of you may just want it for when you're not here. And if that's the case, please know that if there's certain exercises with unique equipment that's not super common at a house gym, like a skier gometer or um or a double cable pulley system, which you may or may not have when you're not here. We have modified versions of those exercises in the app. For instance, using things like resistance bands or jump ropes or even just body weight exercise alternatives. But if you want a way to stay connected to those exercises, this app is a great way to do that. Some of you may even be interested in keeping the app while you're here as a way to log your progress, log your sets, your reps, your weight as you progress through these through this programming. So
